The Pros and Cons of Buying a Mini
Digital Camera
Digital
cameras are today a must-have wherever you go – at a party, picnic,
while traveling – everywhere. They are outstanding gadgets that can
capture beautiful memories wherever you go. Since small is
beautiful, many people are tempted to buy the tiniest digital
cameras available. However, is it wise to buy and use the mini
digital camera?
The Advantages of Buying a Mini Digital
Camera
First of all and the most obvious one is the advantage of its
size. You can take photographs without being noticed – if you so
wish since the mini digital camera is too small to see unless you
know what to look for. So, if you are planning to take some
stealthy snaps – this would be a great choice.
Another great advantage is the price tag. The cameras usually
cost a pittance – very often the price is even less than the cost
of a reel of a regular camera and hence, it is highly affordable.
You can buy it online or offline with great ease. Check for the key
chain mini digital camera models which have been great hits for a
long time.
The mini digital camera being so small is very simple to use –
at the same time it offers most of the features that a regular
digital camera offers. It comes with an auto focus which enables
you to aim and shoot, a tiny LCD panel which keeps track of how
many photographs you still have and a choice of resolution you need
for your shoot.
This camera is best for amateur detective work and when you want
to have some fun taking your friends by surprise with some
outrageous photographs. The camera being so tiny can be carried
attached to the watch or a key ring which makes it as unobtrusive
as you would want it.
The Disadvantages of Buying a Mini Digital
Camera
There are quite a few advantages in owning this lovely gadget as
there are downsides. The most acute disadvantage is that it has
very little storage space – its capacity varies from 26 to 50 good
quality pictures.
A point of concern is that most of this type camera should not
be turned off once pictures are shot as that would erase everything
from the memory. Hence, you need to have the snaps downloaded at
the earliest lest the battery finishes and you lose your work.
Another thing lacking in the mini digital camera is the LCD
screen to review the pictures. You cannot know what the quality of
your pictures is until you download them to a computer, which often
is very inconvenient. However, given the fact that you are dealing
with a miniature camera and the astonishingly low cost it demands –
the mini digital camera is still a great buy.
